Ticking them off my list lol, we met Yogi today and he was just incredible, Nora and Yogi are an absolute credit to their handler and owner Sarah McTighe. I was on my best behaviour as I'm already on the watch list at Therapy Dogs Nationwide for wanting to kidnap Nora when we met a few weeks back. I'm pretty sure I can fit both in my car but will have to plan...hehe

My dear friend and Usborne team leader took me along to one of her events today to get me out the house!

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Nora the Therapy Dog and her owner Sarah. They went along to Stafford Leys Primary School in LFE to support their Ready Steady Read they're running atm.

Nora was brilliant with the pupils, and equally the pupils were brilliant with Nora too.

Nora certainly lifted my mood/spirits the moment I saw her. It was hard to leave her with her owner that's for sure lol.

Sarah and one of her Therapy Dogs (she has three! 🥰) will be visiting the CCG Spring Fair on Sunday 29th March at Stoney Stanton Hall. A raffle is being held at this event to raise money for the charity.

Children's Mental health week is approaching (week of 09/02)

I have been busy in the background raising funds for some local schools/nurseries to get books into their settings for that week.
I've had 2 companies donate so far! Midland Rock and Pasquill in Stoney Stanton.

These books will be going to:
• Old Mill Primary School in Broughton Astley
• Thomas Estley Pre-school in Broughton Astley
• Orchard CofE Primary in Broughton Astley
• Hollycroft Primary School in Hinckley
