Meet Joe Griffin, Specialist Recruiter at Cubed Talent.

Joe's built his career on service excellence, problem-solving, and relationship building. As a generalist contingency recruiter, he also shares delivery on some of our most complex strategic partnership accounts, including an onsite/in-house presence with clients.

He covers contract/temp, interim and permanent recruitment, special projects, and volume and multi-site hiring, with a focus on skilled and semi-skilled roles. He works hands-on, learning the job himself so he can properly assess and match candidates.

Away from the desk, Joe plays competitive football, has travelled extensively and spends as much time outdoors as he can.

Meet Alex Hadley, Senior Recruiter and Client Relationship Manager at Cubed Talent.

With seven years in recruitment, Alex's approach stays simple: listen properly to what clients need, then compete hard for the best candidates on their behalf. Colleagues call her the "ninja" - quiet and unassuming, but relentless once on a brief.

Alex works across contract, interim and permanent recruitment, specialising in FMCG, engineering, M+E and MMC, and roles from skilled/semi-skilled through to supervisory and management. Alex is also part of our Special Partnerships team, supporting complex, multi-site projects for some of our largest clients.

Outside work, you'll find Alex with family, travelling, walking the dogs or listening to music.

Cubed Talent is working with a brilliant engineering business that designs, builds and tests high-speed production machinery - and they're on the lookout for a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to join their assembly team.

This one's perfect if you love variety and problem solving. You'd be programming, building and testing electrical sub-assemblies and full machines, downloading and tweaking PLC & HMI, setting up drives and remote I/O, fault finding, and seeing each machine right through to customer buy-off. No two days the same.

And the package is a good one:
- £40,676 salary + up to £2,200 bonus
- 33 days annual leave
- Health cash plan, enhanced pension & life assurance

Permanent, staggered day shift (6:00am, 6:30am or 7:00am start). There's potential to move onto double days down the line, so a bit of flexibility is key — and if you do, a 21.25% shift allowance applies.

You'll be quoting on machine upgrades, conversions and spare parts, working at the point where engineering meets commercial. It comes with up to 50 days of international travel a year, so a passport and a sense of adventure are a must.

What they're looking for:
Apprentice-trained engineers from all high-tech sub-sectors
Strong technical skills and the ability to read engineering drawings to produce quotations
A confident communicator at every level

The package: circa £55k, up to 15% bonus, BUPA, enhanced pension, life assurance, flexible hours and 33 days' holiday.
