An exciting opportunity has opened for an Artisan Baker to join an independent bakery and café in Salisbury, working alongside an experienced master baker.
This isn’t a production-line bakery. You’ll be hands-on with the preparation, mixing, kneading and shaping of doughs for breads, pastries and other baked goods, while helping maintain excellent quality, freshness and consistency. There’s also room to bring your own creativity and ideas to the bakery.
Experienced bakers are welcome, but candidates with chef or kitchen experience and a genuine passion for baking will also be considered. You’ll need to be precise, reliable and physically fit, as some heavy lifting is involved.
The position is 40 hours per week on a varied shift pattern, including early starts from 3am and every other weekend. Flexibility is available around shift-pattern days and days off during the week.
Location: Salisbury
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week
