We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the team at this lovely, purpose-built residential and dementia care home for older people.

We are looking for a part-time Handyperson/Warehouse Assistant to join the team at an established cleaning and restoration company based in Stockport.

The successful candidate will manage the warehouse and fulfil any job that needs doing around the office or warehouse.

This is a varied role but the three main focus areas will be

1. The warehouse

This will involve maintaining and checking machines when they come back from being used, PAT testing machines along with a thorough check of the parts (full training will be provided). You will also be looking after the upkeep of the storeroom, making sure everything is tidy and organised and maintaining a good stock level of chemicals.

2. Driving

Having a driving license is a key part as the job will also include short local trips to, for example, collect uniforms from the supplier, collect chemicals or parts that are needed. You may also be required to deliver extra equipment to technician in the field, or move vans to the garage or around the unit.

3. Handyman

The last part is the handyman aspect and this could be a range of tasks involving the upkeep of the building, the office, the vans, testing the fire alarm, the emergency lighting and overall general maintenance.

The ideal person for this position would be someone who has some experience in a similar role, but also someone who is willing to learn to expand their current knowledge and skillset.

This is a superb opportunity with an established and expanding organisation and full and relevant training and qualifications will be provided, such as PAT testing.

You will be contracted to 25 hours per week, which will be worked Monday to Friday.
