15th of August - a huge holiday in Cyprus.

As Cypriots brought up in the UK (well I did live there too but that’s another story!) both Neo Pedrithes and I had parents that didn’t need an excuse to light a bbq, come rain or shine 🙂

Today is a national holiday in Cyprus and there will be many locals finding the shade of a tree and setting up their bbqs all over the island. It’s a great spectacle and a very important family day.

So, if you don’t have a reason to fire up your bbq today, here is one. It’s Friday, the sun is out, have yourself a wonderful day/evening. 🍾🥂🍗
