If you take pride in accurate, efficient payroll delivery, this role could be a strong match.

Join our team in Ruislip as a Payroll Assistant. You’ll support end-to-end payroll operations, including:

→ Inputting and reviewing weekly timesheets
→ Processing weekly PAYE, Umbrella and LTD payrolls
→ Maintaining and preparing accurate payroll records and reports
→ Ensuring full compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures

We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ payroll experience, strong numerical and analytical skills, and confident use of MS Excel. Strong attention to detail and solid organisational skills are essential.

Our social initiatives are not just statements on paper.

We are committed to creating real pathways into construction and infrastructure for underrepresented groups, including veterans and their families.

This commitment has taken shape over time:

🪖 In 2023, we signed the Armed Forces Covenant and launched a dedicated ex-forces recruitment programme, formalising our support for service leavers transitioning into civilian careers.

🎖️ In 2025, we were awarded the Gold Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Award, the highest recognition from the Ministry of Defence.

🤝 Earlier this year, we acquired CareerForces, a veteran-led recruitment social enterprise focused on supporting service leavers.

Taken together, these steps reflect a long-term commitment to supporting veterans not just into work, but into sustainable careers within construction and infrastructure.

And that matters, because service leavers bring experience and transferable skills that can be highly valuable in construction and infrastructure roles.

Having supported the School’s work over the years through shared initiatives and industry engagement, we’re incredibly proud to see Ciara take on this new role.

Her appointment recognises the leadership experience, strategic insight and collaborative approach she continues to bring to the construction and infrastructure sectors.
