🚨 Our brand guidelines are being reinstated…

While marketing has been on annual leave, our MD, Rob Shaw, has done a very good job of keeping our Recruitment Consultant vacancy in the spotlight.

The GIFs have been questionable. The enthusiasm? Impeccable.

But jokes aside, we really are looking for someone to join the Glu team.

From 2027, the rules around unfair dismissal are expected to change, reducing the qualifying period from two years to six months.

No, not that one 👀.

We mean Christmas.

We know. We don’t want to talk about it either. The sun’s barely packed its bags and we’re already mentioning Christmas cover.

But while we can pretend the tubs of Celebrations appearing in supermarkets don’t exist, we can’t pretend the end-of-year rush isn’t coming.

Annual leave starts filling up, workloads get heavier, and everything suddenly needs doing “before Christmas”.

And somehow, one person ends up doing the job of three.
So, as much as it pains us to say it... now is actually a pretty good time to think about temporary recruitment.

Today we’re celebrating the birthday of our wonderful Marketing & Communications Manager, Jess! 🥳💗
Where do we even start with this one?!

Jess is quite simply one of the funniest, kindest, most caring and ridiculously talented people you could ever hope to work with. She keeps us laughing, keeps us organised, makes everything we do look about 100x better ✨ and somehow manages to put up with the rest of us on a daily basis… which deserves recognition in itself. 😂

But more than being absolutely brilliant at what she does, Jess is one of those people who genuinely makes work a better place just by being there ❤️

We’re incredibly lucky to call her not only our colleague, but our friend too, and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her 🥹
