📞 Candidate: "Hi Kirsty... just wondering why you haven't called me with any jobs?"

Me: "Last time we spoke was... April."

Candidate: "Yeah..."

Me: "Have you kept in touch like I suggested?"

Candidate: "No."

😅 Recruitment isn't Netflix... we don't just keep recommending opportunities based on what you watched six months ago!

The job market changes every week. New roles come in, priorities change, and the candidates who stay in touch are the ones I know are still available, still looking, and ready to work.

A quick call, email or message every week or two keeps you fresh in my mind and lets me know you're still actively searching.

Moral of the story: Recruiters arent't ignoring you ... but we're competing with hundreds of new CVs landing in our inbox every week! If you disappear for three months, don't be surprised if we think you've landed your dream job! 😂
