Why not try recycling old news papers into new planters for your seeds. Need some ideas? See the ideas attached or go to: ADAMS FARM

Beans, sunflowers and peas are the fastest seeds to grow.
MAKING NEWSPAPER POTS
Making seed pots out of recycled newspaper is not only good for the planet but helps children understand that seeds can grow in any container and making your own is a fun way of learning how nature works. You can use any newspaper, magazine or old scrap paper to make your seed pots. Just keep them watered, place them on a windowsill or somewhere they can get some sun during the day. You should feed them (tomato feed is fine) when they start to grow larger.
RESOURCES YOU WILL NEED:
•Small yogurt drink pot, tin can or other cylindrical object to mould the paper round
•Sheets of newspaper, magazine or scrap paper
•Plastic container, for example a recycled ice cream tub or fruit container
•Small amount of potting compost (try replacing this with tissue, coconut matting etc.)
•Seeds (try peas, sunflowers or beans to start with as they grow really fast)
