Our client is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor based at a hotel near Watlington , Oxon .

As Housekeeping Supervisor you will ensure efficient housekeeping operations and provide excellent guest experience . This role will require servicing the rooms, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are exceeded. You will assist in allocating work duties to the team , inspect rooms and service areas .

You will be cleaning and maintaining bedrooms and also public areas along with organising the linen deliveries etc. To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for either private households or commercial establishments. You will also supervise and manage housekeeping staff . The Supervisor will also will clean rooms and supervise in absence of Housekeeper.

This position is working 5 days a week , 2 days off

Salary: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

The General Manager will develop close relationships with customers, while optimising revenue. The General Manager will oversee the successful running of the hotel, including running of accommodation, staff, restaurant etc.

Maintains and manages good relations with the other hotel departments (rooms, food & beverage, kitchen)

Experience required :-

General Manager experience in a 4*/5* – 50 +bedroom Hotel.
Extensive Hotel management experience is required for this position.
Previous experience as a Hotel manager or Hotel Operations Manager is required .
Be passionate about the operation with a hands-on attitude.
Must have strong leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire team.
Knowledge of budget planning and financial controls.
Experience of strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the team.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Live in accommodation is also available if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From £35,000.00 per year + Bonus

You will provide an efficient and courteous service to the hotel’s guests and colleagues throughout the night, to ensuring the environment is safe and secure. The ideal candidate will have a natural approach with good communication skills and the ability to remain calm when handling challenging situation.
Previous experience of working at night, in a similar environment and having responsibilities for health & safety procedures would be desirable.

Duties
To conduct routine Health & Safety checks in order to comply with statutory and legal requirements for Fire, Health & Safety.
Assisting with the setup of conference meeting rooms as required, ensuring they meet any specific requirements and Brand Standards Conducting late night arrival check in’s and early morning check out’s at Reception . Ensuring the hotel is kept clear and tidy throughout the night, by conducting regular checks of the building, rest facilities and bar areas.
Welcoming and friendly
Happy to work alone over night and be organised and calm
To help out on reception, checking guests in and out when required
Ability to work under pressure
Attention to detail and able to multi task with excellent communication skills

Live in accommodation available.
Work hours - 11pm until 7am .

As a member of the waiting staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating customers food and beverage orders with kitchen and bartending staff. Duties will include but will not be limited to

Taking orders from customers
Answering questions about menu items, food sensitivities and food substitutions
Giving customers suggestions for food and drinks and telling them about any special menu items
Serving non-alcoholic beverages and delivering food and alcoholic beverages to customers
Processing customer payments
Removing dirty dishes from tables to avoid clutter while customers are eating
Cleaning tables after customers have finished their meals
Previous experience in the food service industry and advantage, however training may be offered .
