We talk a lot about productivity, but not enough about the thing that powers it: wellbeing.

Why self-care should be non-negotiable in the UK:

Poor mental health costs UK employers an estimated £51bn a year with presenteeism the biggest driver (the act of working while unwell).

The HSE reports millions of working days lost annually to stress, depression and anxiety. Research shows short “micro-breaks” can lift wellbeing and support performance, especially after demanding tasks .The NHS guidance highlights that regular physical activity supports better sleep, lower stress and improved mood.

This week, consider making space for small breaks a walk, a real lunch, or 10 mindful minutes not to do less, but to return with more clarity, energy and impact. 🍃

Today, on Remembrance Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

As part of the healthcare sector, we want to give special recognition to the medical teams of wartime the nurses, doctors, stretcher-bearers, field medics and volunteers who worked in unthinkable conditions to save lives. Their courage, innovation and compassion on the front lines meant more people came home. Britain would not be the country it is today without their service and sacrifice.

We honour those who fought.
We honour those who cared.
We will remember them.
