Our Story

Welcome to Masters in Recruitment. I am an independent consultant with over 20 years experience in the recruitment sector. Having spent many years working for a small independent recruitment business that later became part of a national, I have a wealth of experience in different sectors. After having my children, I returned to the industry as an independent consultant focusing on my main areas of expertise (see below).

Working with me (as a client or candidate) ensures you a personalised service with someone who has dedicated her career to understanding the industry and providing a first class service.

As a small business, every client and candidate that I work with is key and can expect to be treated accordingly. Rest assured that I never work with candidates employed by clients and visa versa - everything we discuss is treated in the strictest confidence. Rec2Rec Services

I started my own career in recruitment immediately after finishing my education, training initially as a branch Recruitment Consultant and then progressing within the company to undertake many other roles. I worked as an Account Manager, Branch Manager, National Sales Manager and National Implementation Manager throughout my time there. The company I worked for started as a small independent business and became part of a well known national company by the time I left. This allowed me the opportunity to work in many sectors using many different types of recruitment. This broad understanding and personal experience of the industry left me in an excellent position to work with other recruitment businesses and I now specialise in placing Consultants, Account Managers, Branch Managers, Regional and National Roles throughout the UK.

Care Sector Recruitment

When my children were little I worked in the Care Sector as a Care Assistant for 2 years whilst studying for my NVQ in Health and Social Care. I gained a good working knowledge of the industry and the challenges it faces, particularly in relation to recruitment. In addition to my care role I began to provide a consultancy service to the business and eventually took over their recruitment for them. From there I launched my own business with a team of recruiters specialising in care roles. This allowed me to work with residential and domiciliary care organisations and added depth to my knowledge of the industry. Now, as an independent consultant, I regularly recruit for Carers, Supervisors, Registered Managers, Regional and National roles throughout the UK.
