We’re delighted to be recruiting for a lovely full-time Teaching Assistant opportunity in the Workington area, supporting a Reception-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis. 💛

📍 Workington, Cumbria
📅 November 2026 – July 2027
🕒 Monday – Friday | School hours
💷 Competitive hourly rate + holiday pay

This is a really rewarding role for someone who is patient, nurturing, calm and compassionate, with a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and build confidence.

You’ll be supporting the pupil throughout the school day, using play-based and practical activities, encouraging communication and interaction, supporting transitions and helping them access learning in a way that works for them.

Experience of Early Years, SEND, Autism, Speech & Language or developmental delay would be advantageous, but it’s not essential for the right person. What matters most is the ability to build a trusting relationship and provide consistent, positive support. ❤️

We’re looking for a caring, confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil in a welcoming primary school in Carlisle. 💛

📚 Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support
📍 Carlisle, Cumbria
📅 Every Friday | October 2026 – July 2027
⏰ 8:30am – 3:30pm
💷 From £15.50 per hour including holiday pay

This is such a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with children and wants to make a genuine difference to a pupil’s school experience.

You’ll be supporting a Year 3 pupil with Autism throughout the school day, helping with learning, emotional wellbeing, classroom engagement and developing confidence and independence. 🌱

We’d love to hear from someone who is:
🤎 Calm, patient and nurturing
🤎 Confident supporting children with additional needs
🤎 Compassionate and resilient
🤎 Great at building trusting relationships
🤎 Proactive, flexible and able to use their initiative

SEND, Autism, SEMH or behavioural support experience would be highly advantageous.

And of course, you’ll have weekly pay and ongoing support from your dedicated local Hannett Hale consultant. 🥰
