As a Senior Vehicle Technician / Foreman at MES you will be responsible for
• Carrying out "triage" of vehicles, this will be everything from an electrical fault to a mechanical fault, and very occasionally routine maintenance work. All manufacturer information and tooling is provided to complete this task both effectively and efficiently. We hold Manufacturer approved diagnostic platforms for all major brands, with factory support contracts in place with suppliers such as Autologic, OSCA , Autofrontal and ALLDATA.
• Aiding our other technicians in the role of workshop foreman, helping them systematically carry out fault diagnosis and repair, monitoring the repair process, carrying out final checks and, if required, handing over the vehicle to the customer with details of the work undertaken.
• Supporting colleagues in the workshop in systematic fault diagnosis, as well as documenting fully the results of the diagnosis.
• Informing colleagues in the workshop of technical innovations whilst also communicating important information regarding the fault diagnosis.
