Warehouse Operative

A leading fresh produce supplier is seeking warehouse operatives to join a busy team located near Stevenage in Hertfordshire.

This is a refrigerated warehouse, temperature is 12 degrees.

The Role

To work within the packing house or decant areas

To make sure that all products are picked correctly and accurately and making sure no products are damaged. You must have a good attention to detail as the role requires you to check product dates and quality continuously when picking/packing.

There are also various additional roles such as forklift and PEOP drivers, Machine and ERP operators, Pickers, supervisors and team leaders available.

Pay Rates

£9.50 to £10.00 per hour plus £1.09 per hour holiday pay.

Holiday pay is built up and is paid when holiday is taken.
Move to higher rate after training has been completed.
Overtime rates available after 40 hours

Shift Patterns

12 hour shifts – 7 to 7
AM & PM shifts available
Part time shifts available

Requirements

To be considered for the role you must be able to offer the following;

Must have a flexible approach to work
Good communication skills required
Accuracy and ability to prioritise
Motivated and energetic with strong attention to detail

A National parcel delivery company is seeking experienced Warehouse Operatives to join its busy team in Hatfield.

The Role

Loading and or off-loading parcels and packages.
Primarily consumer goods.
Using manual equipment to assist you in your daily tasks.

Requirements

Work experience within a warehouse environment is advantageous but on the job training is given.
Sharp observation whilst using scanning equipment to reload items to the correct destination.
Skills to work in different sections through the warehouse, e.g. Carousels or Sorters.
You must be 18 years or over to apply for this role

Start and Finish Times

Start and finish time varies.
Shift work varies depending on the demand.
Average shift length is 8 hours.
Training

Training will be given in all areas.
