The Best Connection are currently recruiting for ad hoc Refuse Loaders/Refuse Collectors to work in Fareham, inducting the first week in October.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

-Working as part of a refuse team collecting wheelie bins of domestic waste.
-Following a refuse vehicle around housing routes.
-Safely loading bins into vehicles.
-Working on glass and/or garden waste.
Please be aware that this is a physically demanding job that will require you to walk up to and above 10 miles per day.

Job and finish with shifts starting as early as 05:30am.

Due to early starts, own transport or living locally would be highly essential.

Please note that this is an ad hoc job role and not guaranteed to be 5 shifts every week.

This job role will require you to be on standby for various days throughout the working week.

You also may be called into work at short notice and required to get ready and be at the depot within an hour.

£12.45 per hour, weekly pay. Pay rate to increase in the coming months.

Duties to include but not limited to:

Picking and packing bottles
Building and wrapping pallets
Putting heavy stock away in the warehouse safely
Labelling
Stock counting

What we are looking for:

Happy with heavy lifting and physical work
Keen and eager to get the work done successfully
Due to the location, candidates must be able to drive
Candidates are required to work in the warehouse.

Working hours are 09:00-18:00, Monday - Friday.

We are currently recruiting for a Stores Person/Warehouse manager to work at our client's manufacturing site based in Farlington.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

📩Manage goods in and goods out from our build facility
📩Control inventory and consumables within builds to a high degree of accuracy and notify logistics when close to stock out dates
📩Report directly to management daily build figures and quantity of rejected parts on the line
📩Monitor and record document control with regards to work instructions and part quality standard documents on the shop floor
📩Picking and placing stock from stores to supply assembly line with components to build assemblies
​📩Monitoring goods in and out procedures and ensuring delivery notes are correct.

You will be required to have a valid counterbalance Forklift license and Warehouse management experience to be considered for this position

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Working as part of a refuse team collecting domestic waste.
Following a refuse vehicle around housing routes.
Ensuring bins are loaded safely into vehicles.
Keeping public areas clean and tidy.
Previous experience of working outside and previous experience of physical and demanding work is essential for this role.

Candidates are required to walk up to and above 5 miles per day.

It is essential you are able to work 5 days a week, although this will not always be 5 days and some days you will be expected to be on standby.

Candidates are required to work at short notice due to the nature of the job role.

Own transport would be essential due to working location.

Standard working hours are 06:00-14:00, however start time can be from 05:00.
