🔵 BLUE MONDAY 🔵

is considered the most miserable day of the year. The third of the month seems to mark a particularly depressing time for many of us - the weather is dire and gloomy, bank accounts are empty, and our bodies are recovering after a period of over-indulgence.

The term was coined in 2005 by a travel company that claimed they used a series of equations to calculate the date. Some say there are far gloomier days in January, but most agree that the first year of the month can be depressing for many reasons.

So, if you tend to suffer a miserable Monday in , there are a few things you can do to make things a little easier and set yourself up for a happy and restorative day instead

This morning we sent our Christmas gift box to the incredible people at Sophie's Legacy
🎁.

Sophie’s Legacy is a charity based in Fareham who’s ethos is to support local families who end up in hospital with their child ❤️‍🩹. This can be anything from

🚙 help with transport costs
🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 emotional support
🍴 vouchers for hospital meals
🧼 toiletries for parents
✨ end of life wishes
➕ much much more 💕

It was a proud moment to see what the local community have delivered! It looked like Santa’s workshop at their head office. We are sure there are going to be very many smiling faces over the Christmas period, which will hopefully make the hard times just a little bit easier.

Thank you everyone who attended our seminar this morning “Neurodiversity Awareness: Management & Training”! 🧠🌈

☝🏼 We hope you found it as useful and informative, and enjoyed it as much as we did. So many great topics and scenarios discussed, and the audience participation was very beneficial.

At the end of Mental Health Awareness week we would like to dedicate this post to our team.

It is fair to say that work and mental health go hand in hand, whether your work is sometimes the cause, the escape, the therapy, or an unhelpful cherry on top. It is also fair to say that the people you work with are a big part of that too, after all you spend 1/3 of your day with them!

We are pleased to say we have a team that are truly there for each other through not just the ups and downs of recruitment but in life as well, and some true forged friendships have been made ❤️ A team where you are comfortable to talk about problems in and out of work and trust is something we don’t take for granted 🫶🏻
