Mental Health support is crucial.
Sarah and I have supported people with different levels of mental health needs from candidates and employees to friends and family, and that’s where it’s a constant in our lives…. Family

Our daughter suffers with poor mental health – in particular anxiety, and we know very well the impact it has for her and those closest to her in every aspect of life.

We have utilised every resource we can find to try to help, from charities to Mental Health Support Teams. Everyone involved is a superhero in our eyes.

With a solid array of support that her school provides, there has been one superhero teacher utilising the power of music to help in tackling our daughter’s anxiety.

Encouraged by that teacher, what you hear is her own composition (with accompanying friend on piano) that she played to her class for the first time – giving her anxiety a momentary kick in the ass and boosting her confidence.

So this is Twixmas... 🎄

Yes, apparently that’s the name for this cosy time between Christmas and New Year.

It feels like everything is standing still—including the recruitment market. But here is the reality:

✅ The adverts are still live. ✅ The vacancies still exist. ✅ The candidates are ready to go.

We are currently in a strange kind of tinsel-wrapped limbo, waiting to burst back into action when the pudding-fuelled sleep is wiped out of the eyes next week.
