After spending 577 days in the UK, I found two contacts for whom I was looking for references for my recruiting business, Nikoloz-job Recruiting. I thank my Irish colleagues, especially Rosemary Morrison Dip.M FCIM, MIC, CMC, Dip.RSA. and Dylan Loughlin FCIPD

Everyone talked about a labour shortage when we first arrived in the UK. However, after delving deeper into the processes, I realized that the issue could be more complex. Despite the demand in various sectors, British businesses are reluctant to invite skilled workers from abroad, and it is hard to find qualified personnel within the country.

The UK has a monopoly on labour in the agricultural sector, which only four companies control. This creates difficulties for starting businesses such as mine.

Many companies are looking for experience and reputation, reminiscent of a joke from Ukraine about seeking a 20-year-old worker with ten years of experience. To gain this experience, you need to take the first steps.

I want to conclude by saying that having been a migrant twice due to conflicts initiated by Russia against Georgia and Ukraine (from where I was compelled to migrate first in the 1990s and then in 2022 from Ukraine), I am well-equipped to tackle all of these challenges. Thank you.

Where did COVID-19 go?
Am I the only one thinking that everything that happened to us from March 2020 to February 24, 2022, was a global money laundering scheme?

Is it true that to defeat the virus, it was only necessary to divert millions of people's attention to the Ukraine war? All those endless queues at airports, restrictions on travel between countries, or even needing a certificate to have a coffee.
What happened to all the tons of hand sanitisers we used to destroy our immune systems?
Did everyone remember that?
And what about the endless poking with sticks to take samples for testing?
Has anyone ever questioned what effect these vaccines will have on our genetics?
Who are these "businessmen" who made billions from this experiment and disappeared like dust? Lots of questions - no answers...

To many, recruitment and personnel work may seem like a "dry and soulless process." This is my analysis based on 14 years of observation. The process in which interviews and candidate searches lead them to employers must be more bureaucratic.
Someone among my clients once asked me: "Nikoloz, why do your people (employees) always write and call only you? After all, you have a team of managers." Every business owner has their approach. Mine is to become a friend to my people. Everything is simple.

Hello, everyone. This is Nikoloz and the Nikoloz Job team. Day 20 of the season in Finland is underway.
One of the essential tasks our recruitment and worker preparation team sets for itself is ensuring an informed introduction to the entire process.
It's not just about answering questions in phone calls or having "faceless" conversations in messaging apps. It involves general meetings with our workers.
Our clients are employers from large agricultural companies involved in vegetable and fruit cultivation. Their main task is to provide and prepare workers for accomplishing the set goals.
The agricultural sector is one of the most challenging sectors. It deals with complex mechanisms, as even the slightest mistake can lead to significant losses for the farmers.
Today, I conducted another general meeting with our Ukraine, Belarus, and Poland workers.
The purpose of such meetings is to provide answers to their questions. Every business that deals with hired workers faces similar situations. Companies must obtain a workforce and have a well-organized approach to working with them and maintaining close communication.

That's precisely what my Nikoloz Job team and I have been doing for 14 years.

🚫 Beware of Job Scams: Protecting Workers from Deception 🚫

Recently, I came across a disturbing trend within the job recruitment industry that I feel compelled to address. It has come to my attention that certain agencies in post-Soviet countries charge exorbitant fees, upwards of $2,000, for promising job opportunities in the UK. Sadly, some agencies within the UK are complicit in this unethical practice, disregarding both the law and the GLAA charter.

I find these actions reprehensible as someone deeply committed to transparency and ethical practices. It's disheartening to witness hardworking individuals being taken advantage of while pursuing better opportunities. This issue hits close to home for me, as I have a significant following among CIS citizens who often reach out to me for guidance.

However, I believe in the power of knowledge and awareness. By shedding light on these deceptive practices, we can empower job seekers to make informed decisions and protect themselves from scams. I aim to act as a bridge between employers and workers, connecting them based on mutual trust and fair treatment.

Together, we can create a community where honesty and integrity prevail, and job seekers can find legitimate opportunities without fear of exploitation. Let's work towards a brighter future where every worker's rights and dignity are upheld.
