Today is Staff Appreciation Day across our whole community, making it the perfect opportunity to remind our incredible colleagues just how much we appreciate everything they do - for our children, young people, families, and each other.

Our teams across all of our homes do far more than a job. They create opportunities, champion ambitions, and help children and young people reach their full potential. The commitment and dedication they show every single day makes a real, lasting difference to so many lives.
We are exceptionally proud of and incredibly fortunate to have such a remarkable, inspirational team.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that our Pennine View home has once again been rated Outstanding by Ofsted for the eighth time in a row!

Since 2016, our home just outside Barnsley has continued to receive the highest possible rating, and following our latest inspection in March, we’re proud to say we’ve been rated Outstanding in all areas.

The report captured it beautifully, saying:

“Children live in a home that is full of laughter and positivity. They have strong, trusting relationships with staff. This helps children to continue to make exceptional progress in every area of their lives."

A cool way to kick off a new chapter!🍦🍧

We were thrilled to welcome our newest team members as they began their induction training last week. To make day two extra memorable and to beat the heat on the hottest day of the year so far, we surprised everyone with a visit from an ice cream van! A small gesture to say welcome and thank you for bringing your energy and enthusiasm to the team. ☀️🎉

Easter has officially arrived at our Southgate home! 🐰🌼

Home Manager, Amanda, has been busy turning the home into an eggstra special place for the weekend – full of colour, fun, and Easter cheer! The young people are loving the decorations, and even the Easter Bunny made a surprise visit, leaving treats for our amazing staff too! 💛🍫

One of our children’s homes, Barwick House, has been awarded an ‘Outstanding’ rating in its latest Ofsted inspection conducted on 12 and 13 November 2024.

This marks the third consecutive ‘Outstanding’ rating for the home, reflecting its unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and support to children.

Earning up to £14,325 for 20 hours per week, you will be helping to make a positive difference to a young person's life.
