This morning we had the pleasure of welcoming Wilfred Scruton Ltd to the farm. They gave us the chance to demo a Valtra S416. Then this afternoon Scottie swapped over the Valtra for a JCB Fastrac 6300. Both tractors were pulling our 6 metre Sumo UK Ltd multi-press, prepping land for drilling wheat. Both tractors delivered what was required of them.

We would just like to give a huge thanks to Scottie and his team from Wilfred Scruton for this opportunity 🚜🌾

Today we got the opportunity to demo a Claas axion 9.360, we put our 4.5m Sumo trio on it pulling at 12 inches deep at 10kph on heavy land.
Very impressed with the performance! Big thanks to Will and Chris from CLAAS Eastern for their time.

🌾 Harvest Round-Up 2026 🌾
And just like that, another busy harvest season is over!
It’s been a summer full of long days and lots of sunsets! We’re proud of what we’ve achieved this season especially with the weather being so dry and, as always, grateful to everyone who has worked alongside us to get the job done.
As a family-run contract farming business based in Pocklington, we’re proud to work with local farmers and play our part in keeping things moving during one of the busiest times of the farming calendar.
A few snapshots from our summer — a lot of hard work, a few dusty machines, and some great views! 🚜🌾

Here’s to what the rest of the year brings!
