WB Employment (operating as an employment business) are advertising on behalf of our client, a highly respected local business, for a Van delivery driver/Warehouse Operative in Plympton/Plymouth.
Salary: £11.47 per hour
The Role-
- Delivery of products on either a long-haul basis or multiple local deliveries
- Pulls orders to match manifest and ensures manifests are complete and accurate
- Loads truck with merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer
- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
- Will work in the warehouse when not on the road delivering and interacting with customer accounts
- Monday to Friday 07:30-15:30
What you need to apply-
- Valid UK driving licence (3.5T)
- 2 years previous 3.5t experience is required
- Satisfactory driving record required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required
- Proper licensing relative to equipment
- Ability to work in a team environment required
- Customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally required
- Counterbalance Forklift experience/licence required
