Soundwave Recruitment is recruiting experienced carers for an established residential care home in Paignton.

2 × Day Care Assistants
£13.50 per hour
36 hours – 3 × 12-hour shifts (8am–8pm)
Overtime paid at time-and-a-quarter
Double pay at Christmas

1 × Night Care Assistant / Senior Cover
£13.50 per hour
£14.50 per hour when stepping up as Senior
36 hours / 3 nights

Night/Senior applicants must hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, have medication training and be confident administering medication and stepping up as Senior.

Domiciliary Care Rosterer / Allocations Officer

Soundwave Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established Plymouth care provider for an experienced Rosterer / Allocations Officer.

🏠 Full-time, permanent
⏰ Monday–Friday | 9am–5pm
💷 £13.43 per hour + additional paid on-call
📍 Plymouth
🚗 Driving licence & access to a car required

This isn’t simply managing a fixed rota.

You’ll be coordinating care workers across the community, balancing service-user visit times, staff availability, travel distances and continuity of care — while responding quickly to sickness and last-minute changes.

We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, calm under pressure and a great problem-solver.

Experience within domiciliary/community care, particularly rostering, care coordination or allocations, would be highly advantageous.

On-call requirement:
• One weekday evening per week
• One weekend per month
• Additional on-call payments apply
