Job Purpose
To operate flatbed die-cutting machinery and pre-feeders to produce high-quality packaging products. You will drive efficiency by hitting target speeds and maintaining strict quality standards with minimal waste.

Shift Patterns
Hours vary based on production demand. The primary pattern is a Double Day Shift (DDS) rotating weekly:
Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 05:45 – 14:00 (38.75 hours)
Late Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:15 (38.75 hours)
Break: 30-minute unpaid lunch per shift

Key Responsibilities
Setup & Operation: Complete rapid machine setups and make-readies to reach OEE targets and optimal running speeds.
Quality Control: Follow job bag instructions and client-approved master samples exactly.
Material Expertise: Identify corrugated and solid board material types and flag defects immediately.
Safety & Compliance: Operate machinery using lock-out systems, safe systems of work, COSHH guidelines, and risk assessments.
Maintenance: Perform daily Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) tasks and keep work areas clean using 5S principles.
Team Leadership: Supervise and direct crew assistants, feeders, stackers, and packers on your line.
Issue Reporting: Detect machine faults early and report potential production issues to the Production Manager.
