We are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver (HGV) in the Peterborough area. Our client is a leading provider for food goods; they are looking for a Class 1 driver to join their growing driving team.
Details for HGV CLASS 1 Driver:
Salary: £150 per day (LTD) Mon – Sun £138 PAYE
Working Hours – MUST BE AVAILABLE 7 DAYS PER WEEK / 4PM – 3AM (WORK 5 DAYS / 2 DAYS OFF)
Location: Peterborough
Duration: Ongoing regular shifts / PERMANENT CONTRACT AVAILABLE
Night outs available
As a HGV CLASS 1 Driver you will need to have:
UK driving license for HGV Driver role
Minimum 2 years of experience driving as a Class 1 Driver
Hard worker self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
Punctuality and eye for details
Relevant knowledge of the run sheets
Average 11 hour shifts as a HGV Driver
Must have experience on fridges
No Driving Offences
Role of a HGV CLASS 1 :
Delivery drops and collections
Route planning
Customer facing experience
Understand of all driving regulations
