Here is a video of me, asking people for ideas on future Facebook events. Thanks, Simon.

Hi everyone. Simon Froggitt here. Hope you are all OK.
I am thinking of ideas for meeting up on-line, using this page and Messenger.
Here are my ideas:
A live bingo game, or raffle -with small prizes posted out (don't worry, I'll wear gloves when posting). Packets of seeds are a good idea as prizes.
A 'Ready Steady Cook' event -people suggest things that can be made from what's in your cupboard and fridge/freezer. If your cupboard's anything like mine, this will be a challenge, but useful!
A book or film club. Take turns to talk about a book or film you have read/seen. You can listen to books for free at Audible.com at the moment, so don't have to be a great reader (I'm not).
Karaoke. Sing your favourite songs.

Please tell me what you think and please please please add your own suggestions. This page is as much yours as it is mine or the college's. Use it to help you keep in touch with people you know.

I look forward to people's suggestions. Thanks for reading this, Simon.

Thanks to those who took part in today's Video get-together.
It was nice to see people and catch up.
We were treated to some great drumming from Enzo. 🥁
Helen told us about her family and Minecraft 🎮and Dominik revealed his love for James Bond! 😎
We are thinking of having a different subject for each meet up.
Tomorrow's (Thursday) will be a film review by each person. 🎬
Don't worry if you would rather just chat and listen though -that's fine.
Every weekday at 2.00. We use the Messenger video group-chat.
Thank, Simon.

Hi everyone. I hope you are keeping your spirits up during all this 'down-time'.
I'm new to Facebook and some of the things it can do. Has anyone used Messenger to have a group chat? Do you think it would be the best way to have a video meet up, for people to share how they are getting on and catch up with each other?
Any help and advice people can give would be great.
Post your ideas below.
Thanks, Simon Froggitt (Job Coach)
