Here at Foxgroves Recruitment, my colleague Chantell is working with a well-established new homes builder to help them recruit a new Sales Advisor for their Penrith development site.

Here's the thing about this one - it will suit someone who is happy to work weekends and in return reap the rewards of a fantastic commission structure to make up a circa £60k salary!

You'll be the face of the brand on site, guiding buyers through one of the biggest purchases of their lives, from first enquiry all the way to moving-in day. And the earning potential here is no pie-in-the-sky! There is a real, achievable OTE that means the right person can comfortably double their basic.

What's on offer…

💷 £28,000–£32,000 basic (DOE)
💰 Realistic OTE of £50,000–£60,000

More and more candidates are asking me this, and they're sure it's working against them. They're often right.

Here's what no one selling these AI tools mentions:
✅ AI learns from the team you already have, then hunts for more of the same
✅ The ICO found tools filtering people by gender and race, often without them knowing
✅ One biased manager rejects a few. One biased algorithm rejects thousands
✅ 73% of candidates would avoid applying if they knew AI was screening them
✅ Most smaller firms aren't using AI yet, and that's quietly their advantage

Used well, AI genuinely helps. But hand it your judgement and it just automates the bias and calls it progress.
Hiring is a human decision. The moment we forget that, we don't remove bias. We scale it.

📋 Cover Coordinator – you'll keep the school day running by organising cover for absent staff, building the daily rota, and looking after front of house. One to note: it's an early-bird role with 7.30/7.45am starts, so you start early and finish early.

📊 School Administrator (Attendance) – you'll sit at the centre of the school's attendance work, monitoring and following up on absences, keeping parents and staff in the loop, and working with the Leadership Team to improve attendance outcomes.

Both sit within a friendly office team where no two days are the same, with plenty of variety and broad admin support across the school.
