Looking for work in the run-up to Christmas? Let’s have a chat.

We’re BIG ANT Recruitment, and we’re looking for temporary production and packing staff to join a busy team in Newton Abbot.

There’s a mix of roles available, including packing, assembly, production and machine operating. It’s clean work in a modern workplace, with full training provided for each job. You’ll need to be comfortable keeping up when things get busy and ready to get stuck in.
What are the hours?
Most roles are expected to start Monday to Friday, working either 8.30am–5pm or 7am–3.30pm.
As things pick up from mid-November through to Christmas, most will move to 12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm, on this alternating rota:
Week one: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Week two: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
You’ll need to be available every other weekend for this pattern. Paid hours alternate between 36 and 48 hours a week, with overtime paid at time and a half.
Twelve-hour shifts a bit too much? Still get in touch. We may be able to offer shorter shifts that suit you. Other shifts, including nights, may also be available.
We’re looking for people who can start soon and stay until at least Christmas. Some roles may carry on into the New Year too.
£12.71 per hour, paid weekly.
