GENUINE DEBATE TIME 🚨 Right, we all know what parking is like around Torquay, Paignton, and Brixham at the best of times, but should local tradesmen get free parking or a special council permit when they’re out working? Lugging heavy tools, plumbing gear, and building materials up and down our steep Torbay hills all day just to get slapped with a parking ticket seems a bit harsh, but with street space already so tight, especially in the summer … is a free "tradie permit" a brilliant idea to support local businesses, or is it just completely unrealistic? What’s the general consensus, Bay residents... fair play or no way?

Looking for a quote for a handy man for the following jobs:

1 - Removal of part of a kitchen work top in right hand side of sink to make space for a fridge freezer. (See pic where washing machine is currently).

2 - move washing machine to under kitchen counter on left side of sink (requires changing pipework and plumbing in of washing machine) - see pic 2

3 - possibly putting up a few shelves around the flat - TBC

£50,000… FOR THIS?!

An NHS worker and a carer handed over their life savings to a so-called “professional” builder…

And this is just some of what they got in return.

A home left in a state no family should have to live in.

What makes this worse?
They still have to live here.

They’ve got nowhere else to go.

Police? Not interested.
Trading Standards? Not interested.

So now they’re out of money, out of options, and completely let down.

When I first walked into this house, I honestly couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

I want to help this family get the home they should’ve had from the start. I’ll be doing what I can, but this is bigger than one plasterer.

So I’m asking one favour…

Please like, comment or share this video so as many people as possible see it.

Maybe together we can remind this family that there are still honest trades out there.

Would you trust a builder again after this?

Could you post “Anybody looking for an apprentice/ someone to work. Not fussed on the job will do what’s asked and learn on the job, just need something full time with a good amount of hours. Mainly interested in bartending/serving gigs, however due to being 17, 18 next month I may be limited.”
