We are immediately looking for a 1:2:1 Learning Mentor to work within an alternative setting, supporting Primary and Secondary aged pupils. This provision provides various educational settings for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are outside of mainstream school for a variety of reasons including behaviour, medical, and complex needs.

Working hours are between the hours of 9-3 (we have some assignments where you can start at 9.30 or finish at 2.30). We have both full and part time positions.

As a 1:2:1 Learning Mentor you will be involved in working with a particular child, and will also work alongside other support staff; helping to deliver tailored lessons that meet the specific needs of the students. You will actively support the student with academic development and also support them in meeting social and behavioural expectations. The post requires the candidate to provide home to Library/Community Centre transport; therefore a full driving license, business insurance and own transport is essential. We are looking for candidates with:

Experience of working with Special Needs
