Concrete Operative (Precast Manufacturing)
Location: DE55
Pay Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience) + Holiday Pay
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Type: Full-time, ongoing opportunity
About the Role:
Net Temps Limited is partnering with a leading name in precast concrete manufacturing to recruit experienced and motivated Concrete Operatives. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and long-term employment.
Working within a precast concrete factory, you will play a hands-on role in the production of high-quality concrete components used in major construction projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Casting and finishing a variety of precast concrete products to a high standard.
- Setting up and preparing moulds, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Operating vibrating pokers and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to meet production requirements.
- Manufacturing ground beams and related precast elements.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Following all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous concrete casting or precast manufacturing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Proven reliability and commitment to long-term work.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings accurately.
- A positive, proactive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
- Own transport due to site location and early start times (free onsite parking available).
- Right to work in the UK.
