Horizon Talent Acquisition Ltd. is currently recruiting experienced Home Child Care Providers for opportunities in Canada.

We are looking for applicants who have genuine experience caring for children and relevant childcare training. Your experience may include supporting children with their daily routines, preparing meals and snacks, organising age-appropriate activities, assisting with personal care, supervising children to ensure their safety, and supporting children who may require additional care and attention.

Who can apply?
• Applicants currently in Canada, including eligible open or closed work permit holders
• Applicants outside Canada are also welcome to apply
• Relevant childcare experience is required
• Relevant childcare, first aid, caregiving or similar training is an advantage

A very warm welcome to Jennifer Tualla, her partner Christopher, and her son Carlos, who have arrived in Canada as Permanent Residents.

For Jennifer, reaching this day has meant so much more than receiving a PR approval. It meant being able to look forward to a future where the three of them could start their new life in Canada together.

Some journeys take longer than expected, and Roy certainly had his share of challenges along the way. After several work permit refusals and many moments when things did not go as planned, he kept going.

And finally, he made it — this time as a Permanent Resident of Canada. ❤️

What made this arrival even more special for us was that Roy landed just one day before we arrived in Newfoundland and Labrador. We were so happy to finally see him there, knowing everything he had been through to reach this moment.

We are proud of you, Roy. Proud that you did not give up, proud that you trusted the process, and incredibly happy that we were able to see you begin this new chapter in person.

There were setbacks along the way, but this is the moment that matters now.

Could Newfoundland and Labrador One Day Be Home for You? 🇨🇦

We have spent years talking to applicants about Newfoundland and Labrador — about the opportunities, the communities and what life there could look like.

This time, we had the chance to experience it ourselves.

We travelled around St. John’s and visited Cape Spear, Signal Hill and Quidi Vidi. We went through Mount Pearl, Holyrood, Bay Roberts, Carbonear and other communities along the way.

In Conception Bay South, we even headed out onto the Atlantic Ocean to fish. I caught my first cod — and a herring! It was one of those experiences I will always remember.

But this trip was about much more than seeing Newfoundland.

We met people Horizon had supported through their journey to Canada. We saw where they now live, where they work and the communities that have become part of their everyday lives.

That meant more to us than any photograph could show.

When we talk to an applicant about Newfoundland and Labrador, we are talking about somewhere we have now travelled, experienced and come to know for ourselves. We have sat with the people we helped get there and heard about their lives after arrival.

For those considering Canada, it is important to understand that immigration is not simply about getting a job or receiving an approval. It is about choosing somewhere you can build a life.

Maybe one day, Newfoundland and Labrador will be the place you choose to call home. 🇨🇦
