Are you passionate about making a positive difference in a young person’s life? We’re looking for a caring and committed Children’s Residential Support Worker to join our residential home in Stockport.

About the Role:

You will work closely with a service user within a residential setting, providing tailored care and support to help them feel safe, valued, and empowered. This is a rewarding opportunity to build positive relationships and make a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Providing day-to-day care and emotional support
✔️ Accompanying the service user to family visits and appointments
✔️ Supporting with outings and community activities
✔️ Encouraging independence and life skills development
✔️ Maintaining a safe, nurturing home environment
✔️ Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

⏰ Shift Patterns Available:
• Day shifts
• Sleepover shifts
• Live-in care shifts
(Flexibility required, including some evenings and weekends)

What We’re Looking For:

• A compassionate, patient and reliable individual
• Experience in children’s residential care (preferred but not essential)
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (or willingness to work towards)
