Happy Friday!

Another busy week for us all. I was lucky enough to be invited to speak at the NDNA network for Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City on Wednesday. It was a very well organised event. Everyone enjoyed the chance to network again and have a number of professional discussions. I really enjoyed talking to some familiar faces and meeting some new people. Networking is key to our development and well- being.

If you are due to be inspected an inspection preparation day can help you and your team feel confident and prepared.

A small amount of time invested in advance can enable you to plan how you will pro-actively manage the day to showcase your setting's strengths, and help identify and address potential stumbling blocks which may otherwise catch you off-guard.

In some cases the issues which lead to a disappointing inspection outcome can be relatively easy and quick to fix, and as a former inspector and experienced consultant I am well-placed to help.

I shared this quote on my story and I was surprised by the reactions. My good friend and colleague introduced me to he is an inspirational business coach. I think we all need to remember how far we have come in the last year and what we have achieved. What are the 3 achievements you are proud of? It is easy to forget. I am proud of connecting and networking with colleagues and clients, reinventing how to run my business and learning how to use zoom! I will be setting myself some goals for the next month, are you ready to start dreaming yet? If not like says take a rest and re charge. I would love to hear your thoughts. I am off for another lockdown walk and to take in that fresh air. Have a restful Sunday.
