– 12 Week Temp to Perm Contract - Full Training provided - £11 per hr (£12.10 with shift allowance), then up to £13.31 per hour after completion of 6-month probationary period, free transport provided

Job Role
The purpose of the role is to carry out safe, effective and efficient manufacturing led assembly of their homes within the factory, ensure operating at the highest possible safety, quality and productivity standards. The initial phase will cover an in-depth induction period, while developing knowledge and deep understanding of our product and process technologies. This learning will then then be utilised to support and maintain the production capability. This will Include diligent following of Work instructions and Operating Procedures. To ensure on a day-to-day basis the complete system is able to deliver to the required output levels, which will mean the facility and associated manufacturing practices and technologies are measured and constantly improved to ensure the product exceeds expectations.
Please be aware that full training will be provided for all of the roles, experience of working within a production/manufacturing environment is not essential*
Cutting timber and board materials to size using appropriate cutting equipment.
Operating pneumatic and electrical plant and equipment, including hand tools.
Preparing frames/joist sub-assemblies.
Insulating cavities and surfaces with acoustic/thermal materials using hand tools.
Fitting M&E services and sub-assemblies within cavities using hand tools.
Cladding panels with sheet materials using semi-automated framing equipment and hand tools.
Making wall panels using semi-automated framing equipment and hand tools
Fitting window/door components using hand tools.
Assembly of external and internal wall, floors and ceilings .
Fitting of doors/windows.
Initial placement of large sub-assemblies into modules using overhead cranes.
Part sealing and part wrapping of airtight system using hand tools
Person
This role would suite a person who is willing to work hard and learn the skills needed to perform on a day-to-day basis.
To be successful in this position you must be:
- Willing to learn new skills
- Ability to carry out manual work with some heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and willing to listen, discuss and ‘ bottom out’ issues
- Ability to work under pressure to tight time scales
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Flexible approach to Business needs
- Proficient level of English
Working hours
Weekly rotating shift: 06:00am - 2:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm Monday - Thursday 06:00am - 2:00pm / 2:30pm - 8:00pm Friday
10% shift allowance on top of starting rate - £11.00 starting rate (£12.10 with shift allowance) increasing to £13.31 after 6 month probation period
