Hull, we're coming for you! 🚀

We'll be at DoubleTree by Hilton Hull on 30 September for the University of Hull Part-Time Jobs Fair, ready to talk through everything education has to offer. And that's the key word – everything. Teaching's just one route in; there's a whole world of roles alongside it that people don't always think to look at.

Whether you're a teacher looking for your next opportunity, after something part-time, or considering a total career change, come and find our stand. We'll talk through what's available, what suits your skills and experience, and how we can help you get there.

See you on the 30th! 👋

Just before the new school year kicked off, our team in Hull treated a handful of our most dedicated supply teachers in the area to a well-earned thank you.

These are the people who took the 6am calls for emergency cover, brought sunshine wherever they went, and somehow knew exactly how to tame that one class everyone else had all but given up on. Over the past year, they've shown up, time and time again, and we wanted to celebrate that before the new school year kicked off.

Turns out our mini-golf skills are actually incredibly questionable, and they're still keen to work with us. Says a lot about them, really!

Round of applause to this lot, and to every other brilliant candidate we work with 👏

In 24 hours, we'll be heading to the Sheffield Careers Fair at Sheffield Town Hall 🙌

If you're a teacher or supply staff member thinking about your next move, or you're just curious about what else working in education has to offer, come and find us.

Students, this means you, too! If you're after part-time work that actually fit around your studies, pop by! We've got roles that flex with your timetable, not the other way round.

No pressure, no scripted pitch. Just come along, grab us for a chat, and ask whatever's on your mind.

See you there! 👋

Did you know we like to get stuck into schools beyond just recruitment? 👀

The new GCA framework sets a standard for compliance and support, but going above and beyond has always just been how we do things here. Mock interview days, careers talks, charity collections, coffee mornings... There are loads of ways we like to give back, and we're always looking for more excuses.

None of it's required. We just think it matters 🤷‍♀️

Hey, supply teachers!

September's creeping up fast... are you sorted yet? 👀

We know, we know: there are still 2 whole weeks of the holidays left. But the best schools snap up great supply teachers quickly, so now's the time to get registered.

Here's the thing though: we don't just shove you into any old role. We actually match you with schools and roles that suit you, not just whatever happens to be free.

Fancy a chat about what's out there? 👉 Send us your CV today and let's get you sorted for the new term.

Spain have won the 2026 FIFA World Cup! 🏆⚽

Their match-winner wasn't in the starting line-up - Ferran Torres came off the bench and made history. You don't have to start on the pitch to be the hero. Sometimes it's about being placed in the right role, at the right moment.

That's exactly what we do for our candidates looking to score their dream teaching job. Let us get you 'off the bench' and into the classroom. 📚

Half term is here. 🎉

To every teacher, TA, and school leader who has made it to this point in the year: you've absolutely earned the break. Step away from the inbox. The autumn term can wait.

When thoughts of September do start creeping in, we're here whenever you're ready. Whether that's getting supply cover lined up, exploring a permanent move, or having an early conversation about a senior hire, SAAF Supply & Recruitment is always happy to talk things through at your pace.

Enjoy the week.
