This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Senior Quality Engineer – Diss

Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
You'll lead quality investigations, drive CAPA activities, support audits, manage supplier quality and validation processes, and work closely with teams across the business to deliver continuous improvement and exceptional product quality.

Key Requirements:
✅ Quality Engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing environment
✅ Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and internal auditing
✅ Experience with CAPA, root cause analysis and structured problem-solving tools
✅ Good metrology and technical documentation skills
✅ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
✅ Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience: Medical device manufacturing, ISO 13485, supplier quality management, process validation and project leadership.

📢 A Few "What Not To Do's" From Your Local Recruitment Agency... 📢

As a recruitment agency, we receive hundreds of CVs every month and, trust me, we've seen it all...

So, if you're job hunting, here are a few CV mistakes that could be holding you back:

❌ Don't make your CV look like your nan's front room carpet!
Too many patterns, colours, graphics and fancy designs can make it impossible to find the important information. If we need a map, compass and a strong coffee to work out where you've been employed, it's probably a bit too busy.

❌ Don't apply for a role with no relevant experience and leave us guessing! Changing careers? Looking for a new industry? That's absolutely fine! Just tell us why you'd be a good fit and highlight the transferable skills you've got. Help us connect the dots.

❌ Don't write a novel!
A CV isn't your life story. Keep it concise, relevant and easy to scan. Recruiters don't need a chapter-by-chapter breakdown of every job you've ever had since 1998.

❌ Don't be negative!
Even if you've worked for the worst boss in history, your CV isn't the place to settle scores. Keep it positive and professional.

❌ Don't rely entirely on AI!
AI is a great tool, but if your CV reads like a robot wrote it while applying for a job on Mars, it's time for a rethink. Let your personality and experience shine through.

❌ Don't forget the basics!
Check your spelling. Then check it again. Make sure your grammar is on point and that your fonts, spacing and formatting haven't had a disagreement halfway down the page.

✅ Do make it clear, relevant and easy to read
Your CV has one job: to get you noticed for the right reasons.
