What’s on offer:

• £18 per hour (LTD accepted)

Fitness to drive isn’t always black and white — especially for HGV drivers.

Some health changes happen slowly or come and go, and you might not even notice them. But under DVLA Group 2 rules, things like sleep issues, vision changes, medication side effects or slower reaction times can still affect your entitlement to drive.

A lot of these issues only get picked up after an incident, not before. That’s why medical fitness is one of the “hidden” risks in transport — not because drivers ignore it, but because it’s not always obvious.

Declaring a condition doesn’t automatically mean losing your licence. But not declaring something can cause bigger problems later, especially if it becomes part of an investigation.
