📣 Waking Night Support Worker 📣
- Full Time contract available 35hours a week
- £9.65 per hour
- St James, Northampton

As a waking night support worker you will be providing quality support to two individuals living in the community, and within their own home. Supporting all aspects of life to enable them to live as independently as possible.

The waking support worker shifts will cover 10pm until 8am. On a rolling two weekly rota you would work every other weekend averaging 35hrs a week. During the night, in a team of two support workers. You would be ensuring all health needs related to the individuals epilepsy is managed. Also supporting any personal care needs and general household tasks.

As part of a larger team, you will promote personal development through training and regular supervision, ensuring a high standard of professional care safeguarding, and protecting the wellbeing of the individuals.

Essential experience and qualifications:

- 12 months previous experience within a care setting

- NVQ Level 2, higher or equivalent in Health and Social Care or related subject.

Desirable experience but not essential:

- Driver and access to a car

- Lone working experience

- Epilepsy training

- Autism training

Rated Good by CQC. As a specialist provider to individuals on the autism spectrum across Northamptonshire. You would be joining a team with enthusiasm, drive and the desire to make a difference. The company has several supported living, and outreach services. They have been establishing within Northampton since 2014, and have grown due to the personalised support they offer.
