While you’re based in Newton-le-Willows, your reach is global. You’ll be sourcing talent for projects spanning the UK to the Middle East.

You’ll have access to our proprietary behavioural assessment tool, MH IQ. This allows you to vet candidates for culture-fit and safety, moving beyond just a standard resume.

This role is the perfect launchpad. Whether you want to become a Lead Delivery Specialist or transition into a 360 Consultant, we provide the roadmap.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫
Experience in candidate sourcing, headhunting, or resourcing, ideally within technical or engineering sectors.
You’ll be the first point of contact for high-level engineers and specialists; you need the confidence to build rapport quickly.
Values Alignment: You are hardworking and ambitious, and you thrive in a team-based environment.
The ability to understand complex job specs and narrow down a global talent pool to the top 5%.

Base salary of £25,000 – £30,000 (DOE) plus an uncapped performance-based bonus structure linked to successful placements.

The essential ticket for gas works, tunnels, tanks and pressure vessels.

✅ What it covers: Safe entry/exit, gas monitoring, emergency procedures
✅ Duration: 2 days (Low Risk) or 3 days (High Risk)
✅ Typical cost: £300-£450
✅ Where to get it: CITB-approved providers (search 'Confined Spaces [your area]')
✅ Why sites need it: Legal requirement under Confined Spaces Regs 1997 – zero tolerance

No confined spaces ticket = no underground or vessel work. Period.

Well… "newest" is doing some heavy lifting. Will has worked with the wider Mercury Hampton group for many years, and has now officially joined the MHC team.

Will joins us as a Senior Business Consultant specialising in white collar infrastructure. Think project managers, engineers, quantity surveyors, and planners driving construction, energy, and civil engineering projects. He works across contract and permanent hiring, bridging immediate project needs with longer-term career opportunities.

Freelance Site Manager – Façades
Commercial Project, Southampton
£££ - Negotiable, DOE
6 months + potential extension / permanent

My client is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to deliver a façade package on a Tier 1 project in Southampton.

Scope: Curtain walling, cladding, entrance doors and soffits

Start: Late March / Early April (early onboarding provided)

Hours: 7:30am – 5:30pm

We’re looking for someone with:
Proven façade / curtain walling site management experience
CSCS Gold or Black Card and SMSTS
Strong QA, reporting and IT skills
Installation background preferred
Ideally based locally on the South Coast

This is a well-planned, well-supported project with excellent site facilities and a genuine opportunity for extension or permanent work for the right person.
