Haydock, A well Known Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.

Are recruiting for Parcel Sorter to join our client in Haydock, Kilbuck Lane , WA11 9UX

Our client is a leading distribution business who are well known across the UK for delivery of parcels.

We have immediate inductions and start dates available for this role.

The Role:

Sorting / Checking products within dispatch
Loading / Unloading of items
Moving items to the designated areas.
Other general warehouse duties will be involved.

Contact Recruitment are acting as an employment business for our client in Trafford Park.

We are recruiting Class 1 drivers to work on either day shifts or night shifts on a weekly basis. The work is all year round and considered long term for the right candidate. Your shifts are allocated during the previous week. Although long hours, this is very straight forward work!

Job Description

Working as a professional Class 1 driver you will be required to undertake one of 2 roles.

Role 1: Shunting around Trafford Park on a 12 hour shift.
Role 2: Trunk Delivery to North Wales or Shropshire. 12 hour shift.

Start times can vary between:

Days - 0500 to 0700
Nights -1700 to 1900

All shifts are based on 12 hours. The working week is over any 7 days, so weekend work is expected.

You will not be expected to do any handball at your delivery point and your trailer is loaded for you.

New Pass drivers are welcome to apply for this role! However, experience is beneficial.

Induction
You will be required to attend a paid induction on site, which is a full day. You are paid for this day.
A Driving assessment will be carried out during your induction. Which you must pass.
An online "Highway Code" assessment will also be carried, so you must be able to understand English to a "Good" standard.
Pay Rates (PAYE/LTD)

Days
STD£11.00 per hour/£13.00 per hour
SAT£12.00 per hour/14.00 per hour
SUN£14.00 per hour/£16.00 per hour

Nights
STD£11.75 per hour/£14.00 per hour
SAT£13.00 per hour/£15.00 per hour
SUN£15.00 per hour/£17.00 per hour
