In loving memory of Simon 🤍
Today was a very sad day for all of us at Elizabeth’s Elite Cleaning as we attended the funeral of our wonderful, long-standing client, Simon Spoors.
Over the years, Simon became so much more to us than a name in the diary or a home we visited. When you are welcomed into someone’s home regularly, year after year, you get to know the person behind the door. You share conversations, stories, laughter and little pieces of everyday life and without really noticing when it happens, a client can become someone you genuinely care about.
Simon was very much one of those people.
His passing has been deeply felt by those members of our team who had the pleasure of knowing him, and today we wanted to be there to pay our respects and say goodbye.
Running a business like ours is about cleaning homes, of course, but after 23 years we know that it is also about people, relationships and trust. We are invited into people’s most personal spaces and, sometimes, into their lives for many years. That is a privilege we never take for granted.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Simon’s sons James and Martin, his grandson Max, his mum Mary, his sisters Jennifer, Susan, Andrea and Catherine, and all of his family and friends who loved him.
Thank you, Simon, for trusting EEC with your home for all those years, for the conversations, the kindness and for simply being you.
It was our privilege to know you, our privilege to look after your home, and our privilege to be there today to say goodbye.
Rest peacefully, Simon. You will be very fondly remembered by all of us at Elizabeth’s Elite Cleaning. 🤍
