An independent small animal practice in West Kent is looking to recruit a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join the team. The practice is well established with a great local reputation. It is a busy first opinion practice that is well-equipped with ultrasonography, laparoscopy and digital x-ray. This is a permanent full time position working a 4 day week with 2 in 5 Saturday mornings (9am –1pm). OOH emergencies covered by external provider however you will be required to help cover basic in-patient care (late check at 11pm) which is shared fairly across the team once per week. In addition there is an ‘inpatient’ weekend rota of 1 in 5. You will join an experienced team that includes certificate holder and VetGDP advisors, working across 2 sites with exciting development plans in progress. The role is ideally suited to a vet with 2 – 3 years post graduate. On offer is a competitive salary with CPD support and more. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join an independent small animal practice in Mid Devon. Although this is an RVN role, for the first year of employment you will be Acting Head Nurse covering maternity leave.
This an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN to try their hand as working as a Head Nurse whilst carrying out the standard nursing duties to include inpatient care, diagnostics, theatre and nurse clinics. Nurses are encouraged to do schedule 3 procedures and take ownership of cases.
Previous leadership experience would be beneficial but the practice has a large and supportive team so an experienced RVN with the right attitude and keen to move into an Acting Head Nurse role and prove themselves to manage and lead a team would also be suitable. Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Tier 3 Hospital – Wiltshire
A well established, independent, Tier 3 Small Animal Hospital in Wiltshire is looking for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on either a full or part time basis. This role is ideally suited to a vet who is confident in their abilities, with good communication skills and someone who is a team player. A medical bias would be advantageous but not essential. You will work alongside a friendly, forward-thinking team with certificate holders in medicine, surgery, imaging and ophthalmology. The hospital is very well equipped including CT scanner.
