Packing Operative (Afternoon Shift: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)

Monday - Friday

Main Duties
Pack bottles, cans, or cases of drinks according to company standards.
Operate and monitor packing machinery and production lines.
Check products for quality, correct labelling, and packaging.
Assemble cartons, trays, and pallets for dispatch.
Palletise, wrap, and prepare finished goods for storage or shipment.
Keep work areas clean and follow hygiene procedures.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including the use of PPE.
Report equipment faults, damaged products, or safety concerns to supervisors.
Assist with stock movement and other warehouse duties as required. Typical drinks-production packing roles include line work, palletising, packing/repacking beverages, wrapping, and general warehouse tasks.

PRINT CNC SETTER/OPERATOR

Job Shop Recruitment are looking for a versatile and hands-on General Print CNC Setter/Operator to join our production team on a new evening shift.
This is a varied role where you’ll be involved in multiple areas of production, including operating large format printers and CNC routing machinery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across different equipment and supporting the wider production process to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Operating large format printers (including flatbed machines)
· Setting up and operating CNC routing machinery
· Loading materials and ensuring accurate alignment
· Reading and interpreting job sheets and production instructions
· Monitoring output quality and maintaining high standards
· Assisting with general production tasks where required
· Basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
· Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
· Previous experience within large format print or production (essential)
· Experience operating print machinery and/or CNC equipment
· Strong attention to detail and quality control
· Ability to work independently on an evening shift
· Good understanding of health & safety procedures
· Reliable, punctual and proactive
Desirable
· Experience with flatbed printers or CAD cutting
· Experience within signage or display production
· Knowledge of CNC software (EnRoute, VCarve or similar)

Job Shop Recruitment are looking for a hands-on General Finisher to support the production department on a new evening shift.
This role involves finishing and preparing large-format print for dispatch, including trimming, laminating, mounting and packing. You’ll play a key part in ensuring all work leaves the production floor to the highest possible standard.
Key Responsibilities
· Trimming and finishing printed graphics
· Laminating large-format prints
· Mounting graphics to boards and substrates
· Preparing jobs for dispatch
· Assisting with quality checks

Requirements
· Previous experience in print finishing or similar production environment preferred
