As a Production Planner, you'll be at the heart of our supply chain operations, ensuring products are available when customers need them while driving efficiencies across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing and developing supplier relationships and existing supply chains.
• Using MRP data and forecasting tools to optimise inventory availability and improve OTIF performance.
• Analysing demand forecasts to support accurate purchase order placement.
• Working closely with Sales, Operations, Product Management, Customer Service and Quality teams to ensure seamless supply chain performance.
• Monitoring supplier delivery performance and proactively expediting orders where required.
• Recommending stock strategies and supplier-held inventory levels to enhance lead times and customer service.
• Identifying alternative sourcing opportunities and supporting supplier negotiations.
• Coordinating inbound shipments with freight forwarders across sea, air and road transport.
• Maintaining accurate product and planning data within Microsoft AX and Syspro.
• Producing insightful supply chain reports and analysis for management.
• Contributing to the S&OP process to support business growth and operational efficiency.

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are produced to the highest standards of quality and delivered on time. Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you'll operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and help drive efficiency across our production processes.
What You'll Be Doing
• Operating a variety of production machinery and tools in line with training and work instructions.
• Working on extrusion lines and carrying out visual, dimensional and physical quality checks.
• Assisting with the production and maintenance of buffer stock for key product lines.
• Packing finished goods ready for dispatch.
• Ensuring products are stored correctly before shipment.
• Disposing of waste and scrap materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Reporting any machinery faults or operational issues to supervisors.
• Supporting other production areas when required to help meet customer demands.
• Ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.

To ensure customer orders are accurately picked, packed and dispatched on time, while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency within the dispatch area.
Key Responsibilities
• Pick and check customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack products securely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Ensure all goods are correctly labelled and documented.
• Load and unload deliveries safely where required.
• Arrange outgoing orders for collection by couriers and transport providers.
• Check quantities, product codes and paperwork before dispatch.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including pallet trucks and other relevant machinery.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe dispatch area.
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect goods to the relevant supervisor.

Job Shop Recruitment is currently recruiting 6 Window & Door Fabricators for a client based in Torbay.

You will join a small, skilled team working across all areas of the production floor, including the Machine Shop, Welding, Glazing, and Fitting sections.

Key Responsibilities

Use air-powered tools to securely fit hardware to window and door frames.
Operate self-standing window fabrication machinery.
Rotate between production sections to develop multi-skilled abilities and provide cover for staff absences.
Maintain high-quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
Safely lift loads up to 25kg independently, with additional support provided for heavier items in line with Health & Safety requirements.
Follow all company policies, management systems, standard operating procedures, and legal responsibilities relating to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
