We’re Hiring – Events & Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a confident, organised and commercially minded person to join a busy local organisation in a varied role combining events, sales, business development and customer experience.

You could be a great fit if you come from a background in events, hospitality, venue sales, business development, account management or customer-facing sales.

The role will involve:

Growing event bookings and developing new business
Building relationships with customers and local businesses
Following up enquiries and converting opportunities
Helping promote and deliver events
Developing new commercial ideas
Supporting occasional evening and weekend events

Experience in hotel sales, weddings, conferences, hospitality or venue-based sales would be a real advantage.

Weekend availability is essential, as many of the key events take place outside normal office hours. The role does offer flexibility though, with working hours arranged around the events calendar rather than a rigid Monday-Friday schedule.

This is a varied role combining showroom sales, customer service, pricing, quotations and production administration.

You’ll be speaking with customers, preparing prices and quotes, processing orders, coordinating production information and preparing job packs for installation teams.

We’d love to hear from people with experience in areas such as showroom sales, retail sales, kitchens/bathrooms, trade counters, building materials, customer service or sales administration.
