Production Assembly Operator (Soldering Experience Required)
Location: Cwmbran Area

We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Production Assembly Operator with soldering experience to join a well-established electronics manufacturing company in the Cwmbran area.

This is a full-time position working in a fast-paced production environment. The role involves working on your own dedicated station, following strict safety procedures and maintaining high-quality standards at all times.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 15:00
Friday: 06:00 - 11:00
30-minute unpaid break
Weekly pay
Pay Rate:

£12.81 per hour
Job Responsibilities:

Perform various types of soldering work on electronic components
Consult production schedules and prepare workstations and equipment
Collect and assemble required components for production tasks
Set up equipment and solder components accurately
Finish assemblies by smoothing and inspecting products
Record errors, defects, and rejects on production documentation
Clean and maintain work area and equipment
Carry out other related duties as required
Required Skills & Experience:

Previous soldering experience is essential
PCB assembly experience required
Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
Ability to read and follow technical manuals and instructions
Good knowledge of soldering techniques and processes
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work in a standing, fast-paced environment (this is not a seated role)
Additional Information:

PPE must be worn on the shop floor at all times
Work can be repetitive in nature
We are looking for candidates who are seeking stable, full-time employment and are ready to take responsibility within a production cell environment.

WB Employment (operating as an employment business) have an exciting opportunity for an experience Solderer with a well-known electronics manufacturer in the Cwmbran area.

We are looking for candidates that are seeking regular, full time work that could lead to a permanent contract after 12 weeks, if the correct level of commitment has been shown.
PPE will need to be worn on the shop floor (provided) and the nature of the work can be repetitive.

Brazing experience desirable ! Soldering/Electrical Assembly experience essential!

You'll typically work on your own station following strict safety processes and quality standards.
Duties:

Perform Various types of brazing and soldering
Consult production schedule to prepare work area and equipment.
Gather components needed to meet production schedule.
Sets up equipment and solder components together.
Completes projects by smoothing rough edges of product.
Record any errors and rejects on production sheets.
Clean work area and equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills:

IPC 610 desirable but not essential
Ability to follow instruction.
Good attention to details
Ability to read equipment manuals.
Knowledge of soldering processes and technics or willing to learn.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to details.
One-year experience in similar role.
Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 07:30-16:00 and 07:30 - 15:00 on Friday

£12.93 p/h weekly pay
