WB Employment Ltd operating as an employment business are recruiting for
Warehouse operatives/Order pickers for a well-known supermarket distribution centre in Chepstow
You will be given instruction through a headset about what items to pick and pack for each store.
Temp to Perm
Shift times – 7 am - 3pm hours – Working 5 days out of 7 (minimum of 40 h required)
Pay - £12.39 per hour - weekly pay increase to £13.55 after 12 weeks
OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO THE LOCATION
Your first week will be training - you cannot miss any working days in your first week of induction and training.
What you'll do
Picking duties, this will be items from household goods through to tinned products and dried goods
Listen carefully to picking instructions through your headset and carry them out at pace
Make sure your deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure
Report any damaged items to your manager
Take responsibility for working through your orders independently
Help out in any team tasks, such as cleaning equipment and checking stock
What you'll need
Willingness to work with all different types of stock, in temperature-controlled areas
Good attention to detail when working quickly
Self-motivation to work hard and do everything to the best of your ability
Some experience of working in a fast-paced, target driven environment is a bonus
What you'll receive
Weekly pay, Pay increase upon temp to perm, a further pay increase after 6 months.
