*** RETAIL MERCHANDISERS***

Solsbury Solutions are recruiting for retail merchandisers in Gwent and surrounding areas.

Candidates must be motivated, hard working and able to pick up new skills quickly. You must be flexible and willing to work long hours on various contracts throughout the UK.

Your responsibilities include accessing high level stock, moving and relocating stock items around store fixtures and racking, following plans and guidelines as required, ensuring displays are clean and tidy and reporting any damages or problems to senior staff. Manual handling activities are required in all aspects of the role which include pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.

The hours will be either 12-hour day, night and weekend shifts, so you must be flexible and reliable as you may be required to work away on contracts which will require you to stay away from home for 3-5 days - accommodation and breakfast will be provided. Hours of work can vary up to a maximum of 60 hours per week.

A full driving licence and own transport would be highly advantageous but is not an essential requirement.

Previous merchandising experience is desirable but not essential, as initial training will be provided - as long as you are an enthusiastic self-starter who is able to follow instructions and use your own initiative, then we want to hear from you! Housekeeper!! - Newport Area

Our well established client in the Newport area is looking to recruit a dedicated Housekeeper for their hotel rooms and apartments.

As a Successful Room Attendant/ Housekeeper/ Cleaner your duties will include (but are not limited to):
•Cleaning hotel rooms effectively
•Making sure that all the towels, drinking glasses and furniture are in their proper place
•Keeping the storage room clean
•Handling other housekeeping services
•Showing a friendly and helpful behaviour towards guests

The successful Room Attendant/ Housekeeper/ Cleaner will have:
•Previous experience in similar role - not essential
•Exceptional customer service skills
•Good communication and organisational skills
•Great attention to detail

Casual Hospitality Staff- Newport!!

Solsbury Solutions are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic candidates to join our ever-growing team of casual hospitality and events staff as we move into the busy summer season.

We work with various restaurants, hotels and events venues based in Chepstow, Cardiff and Penarth, as well as catering companies who require staff across the South Wales area.

You may be asked to fulfil any of the following roles, dependent on experience:
•Waiting staff
•Bar staff (over 18s only)
•Kitchen porter
•Cellar porter
•Kitchen/drinks runner
•VIP Hospitality
•Wine waiting (over 18s only)
•Team Leader
•Stewarding

Previous experience is desirable but not essential. You must, however, be well-mannered, well-presented, flexible with shifts and willing to work long hours on your feet, maintaining excellent customer service at all times.

Own transport is desirable, and we are able to pay travel allowances to drivers who are willing to give lifts to other staff.

Candidates must be aged 16 or over. All work will be on a casual basis, so will ideally suit anyone looking for extra shifts, or students returning home for the summer.
