Alfa Staff are currently looking for a Container unloader for a Client in the Chepstow Area. The container unloader must be able to lift to 20Kgs. This is a temporary contract for up to 4 or 5 weeks and may be extended.

Days – Must be flexible with start and finish times - Monday to Friday.
Salary - £12.86 per hour

The duties of the container unloader are too handball stock in a safe and timely manner. The container unloaders must have a reasonable fitness level.

Personal Attributes:

PPE required to include safety boots and a Hi Viz
Organizational skills
Literacy and Numeracy skills (Must read documents of various stock)
Manual Handling required
Knowledge of Health & Safety

Alfa Staff are currently looking to recruit warehouse operatives for a Client in Magor area of Newport. The Warehouse Operatives will perform general warehouse duties to include order picking and the unloading of containers.

Shifts available:
Hours of work – 14:00 to 22:00
Rate of pay £12.71 – ½ hrs Break deducted.
Weekly – 37.50 Hrs
Personal attributes / experience needed.
· Warehouse experience – Order picking
· Good communication skills
· Good numeracy skills and Literacy skills
· Manual handling knowledge as some heavy lifting involved.
· Must be able to work alone and as a team.

Alfa Staff – Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are recruiting for a temporary Counterbalance Forklift Driver on behalf of one of our well-established clients in the Newport area. The Counterbalance forklift driver must have an in date RTITB or any other recognised certification. The Counterbalance Forklift driver must have at least 2 years’ experience.

This is a temporary to permanent position.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday – 23.00 to 9.00. Nights or
Hours of work: Monday to Friday -16.00- 00.00

Rate of pay: £13.38 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products
- Transport materials to designated areas within the facility
- Loading vehicles / trailers ready for delivery
- Scanning and putting the pallets into the warehouse
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and shipping documents
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
