Lydian Temps on behalf of our client EASA group UK & Ireland have another exciting opportunity for a Production Operative – for their tray manufacturing team in Moira.

Production Operative
The successful candidate will work alongside the busy team in the trays department and provide support to the Operations Supervisor.

Role: Production Operative - Tray Manufacturing

Location: Moira Ind Est, 34 Old Kilmore Rd, Moira, Craigavon BT67 0LZ

Start Date: as soon as possible following successful appointment

Working hours – Monday – Friday – 8am – 4.30pm

Hourly Rate – £8.96 per hour

Induction: There will be a 13 week induction period for any successful candidate which will include full training on the role and products, upon successful completion of induction the candidate will be confirmed in post.

Skills & experience
•Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
•Experienced in the use of all tools as required for the task and following technical instruction.
•Awareness of Health & Safety in a production environment and the importance of PPE.
•Aware of using Fibreglass for the role and the health and safety aspects of the role.
•Excellent organisational skills.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
•Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities

Essential Criteria:

Eligibility for Chartered Membership is required - level 7 (CIPD)

Two years’ experience at a senior level in Learning and Development to include each of the following:

Management of training function at senior level including management of staff and training budget
Creation and roll-out of an annual training plan in line with business need
Delivery of staff training programmes
Experience in working with management/leadership development programmes
Experience of training evaluation
