Wendy first joined us in 2005 after sending her CV to NRG in search of a new role. Instead, she was invited to apply for an internal opportunity as Credit Controller – and the rest is history.

Over the last two decades, Wendy has brought her dedication and expertise to a variety of roles, including Purchase Ledger, Temp Payroll, and Management Accounts.

Her thorough approach, reliability, and commitment have made her an invaluable part of our team.

This month marks 20 years since Leanne Chambers returned to the North East after several years living and working in London, and joined NRG.

Leanne began her journey recruiting PA and secretarial roles before moving into sales and marketing recruitment. Following two maternity leaves, she stepped into a leadership role managing our outsourced solutions business – Greenbean.

In March 2024, Leanne was appointed Managing Director of both NRG and Greenbean. This role reflects her deep passion for people, strategic thinking, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients and candidates alike.

We’re also celebrating 25 years with Sarah Millar. Sarah has worked across some of our longest-standing higher and further education accounts, recruiting for both permanent and temporary roles. More recently, she has brought her experience to our Finance and Governance recruitment team, with a strong focus on supporting graduates and early-career professionals.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Leanne and Sarah have achieved. Their loyalty, dedication, and care for people truly reflect the values at the heart of NRG and Greenbean - thank you! 💙 💚
